Health & Safety/Allotment inspection

Following a decision at the recent Committee meeting, there will be a Health and Safety review of the site taking place week commencing 24th April. The review will be carried out by two Committee members.

This is our opportunity to review the infrastructure of the Allotments for 2017 and advise on future Health & Safety requirements.

We will also be looking to see that all allotments are clear of rubbish and being used for the correct purpose of producing fruit and veg. The tenancy Agreements states that a minimum of 75% of each plot shall be under cultivation during the growing season and we will not only be looking for plots to be dug over but of on-going planting and sowing of seeds.
