Message from the Chairman

The Committee is pleased to announce that we have now completed the first of this year’s allotment site inspections which also included the annual health and safety inspection.

Overall the site is looking very good – plot holders and path strimmers and sprayers are to be commended for their efforts!

The vast majority of plots have been well prepared for the growing season, although the recent prolonged dry spell has delayed some planting. Hopefully more extensive cultivation will be well under way by the time of the next inspection at the end of May.

We are also pleased to report that there were no outstanding health and safety issues.

My personal thanks to those committee members who carried out the inspection.
